“Being a Doctor”: MEDplus Launches a New Informational Project About Healthcare Professionals

The evidence-based media platform “MEDplus Ukraine” is launching a new informational project titled “Being a Doctor.” Its goal is to showcase the individuals behind modern medicine and highlight its capabilities, challenges, and future prospects. The editorial board is calling for story submissions of doctors who are the face of medicine, embody innovation and inspire change.

“Nikolai Amosov, Alexander Bogomolets, Alexander Shalimov — these are the names of renowned Ukrainian doctors who have become part of our history. They saved millions of lives and became legends. Today, we still have people among us who are leaving their mark on the history of medicine.

This is why we are launching this project — to change perceptions about doctors, break stereotypes, and tell the real stories of those who safeguard our health every day. Our goal is to learn how doctors live today and who is shaping the future of medicine,” explained the project’s host, Yelyzaveta Ovsiichuk.

If you are an innovative doctor or know someone who is — fill out the form, and your story might become part of the project. The editorial team will select the featured individuals at its discretion.
